Booking and arrival

The booking form on the stay page sends an enquiry, not an instant booking. The hosts reply to confirm availability, the price and the terms, and to agree your arrival and departure times. Wait for that confirmation before making firm travel plans.

Bulbul is in Bartung, on the Bartung–Tansen Road near Tansen in Palpa, and there is parking for guests who drive. Use the map on the about page to plan your route, tell the hosts when you expect to arrive and ask them for final directions. Arriving in daylight makes the last stretch easier.

Your room

The standard double room has a private bathroom, hot water, Wi-Fi and a fan. Think of it as a comfortable base rather than the centre of the stay. Much of the day happens outside, in the garden, at the table and around the farm.

Life around you

This is a farm, so expect the sounds of one. The rooster starts early, the ducks are busy by the pond, and goats, hens and a turkey are part of the scenery. Two friendly golden dogs, Coco and Leo, live here too. Greet them gently, let them come to you and give them space when they rest.

Breakfast is served, and the food is farm-grown and home-cooked. For other meals, ask the hosts what is cooking. Some evenings bring a bonfire and, when the sky is clear, a good look at the stars.

Things to bring and to ask

Pack a warm layer for the evening, comfortable shoes for garden paths, a torch and any medicines you need. Mention dietary needs, accessibility requirements and pets in your enquiry rather than on arrival. Ask the hosts how they would like to be paid, and whether camping or extra meals are possible.

Before you leave, ask about the Make Memories wall and add your handprint to it.
